Captain Fathom performed and recorded from 1992 to around 2003 all around the NW and mostly on Fidalgo Island. Their performing style was not unlike the Grateful Dead with extended improvisations. Rooted in jazz, metal, world and folk, Fathom often performed at bon fires, grange halls, parking lots and back yards for hours to gathered hippy/alternative types dancing and spinning.
